In Prison My Whole Life. Directed by Marc Evans. Produced by Livia Firth.
This shocking documentary by long-time F&J friend Marc Evans needed an image that would set up the films unusual premise. The film’s narrator, Will, was born on the day that Mumia Abu-Jamal was arrested under dubious circumstances for murder. Aged 25 Will decided to make film about this man, still sitting on death row, by going to meet him and finding out more about the poitical climate in Philadelphia 25 years ago.
So how do you set this up graphically? Will a cake that casts the shadows of prison bars with its candles of course. With thanks to Patisserie Valerie.
