We designed this sumptuous treat for the film based on the true story of Barbara Daly, played by Julianne Moore. An ambitious socialite who married above her social status into the bakelite plastics fortune but ended up having a rather questionable relationship with her own son, played by Eddie Redmayne.

We focused on this relationship and depicted the familial unease by visually heightening similarities between their characters to create a creepy reflection of each other.
